Emily Strange turns 13 September 12, 2006

What do you do when your 13-year-old character actually turns 13? Go on a 13-city worldwide art-gallery tour, of course! This is stop number three for creator Rob Reger and illustrator Buzz Parker on Emily The Strange's teen tour, but there's no way it isn't going to be the best--the goth icon was born and raised in the Bay Area, where Reger still lives. (Parker resides up in Arcata.) In addition to offering clothing, merchandise, and limited-edition serigraphs for sale, Reger and Parker will talk about their work, and Reger's band This Isn't It will rock the house with local lady trio The Husbands.
