Everyone is invited to attend the 2006 Emily Carr Institute Graduation Exhibition. The show will be one of the largest in the Institute?s history as almost 300 students will showcase their work in four floors of gallery and theatre space at the Institute?s Granville Island campus. Admission is free.In addition to daily film, video and animation screenings at the Institute, there will be two special screenings of selected film, video and animation work at the Vancouver International Film Centre.The Graduation Exhibition is a public introduction of the talented and innovative students who are destined to influence visual arts, media arts and design throughout Canada and the world. Their work - ranging from sculpture to industrial design to animation and more - is a kaleidoscope of ideas, and the culmination of an intensive four-year program of studies.Emily Carr Institute is one of the world?s premier schools devoted to excellence and innovation in visual arts, media arts and design.
