JESSE PRINZ, Philosophy, the Graduate Center/CUNY, in conversation with VICTORIA PITTS-TAYLOR, Women’s Studies and Sociology, Queens College and the Graduate Center/CUNY. Jesse Prinz, Distinguished Professor of Philosophy, is author of the books The Emotional Construction of Morals, Gut Reactions: a Perceptual Theory of Emotion, and Furnishing the Mind: Concepts and their Perceptual Basis. He is co-Editor of the anthology Mind and Cognition. Victoria Pitts-Taylor is author of two books and editor of a two-volume encyclopedia on the sociology of the body and body practices.
