Emanual Ax Joins Zukerman ChamberPlayers July 13, 2011

Hailed by the New York Times as an artist with “uncanny dramatic timing and melting sound,” as well as “youthful brio, incisive rhythm [and] bountiful imagination,” Ravinia favorite Emanuel Ax will join the Zukerman ensemble in a melodic celebration of Mozart and Dvořák, whose seemingly autobiographical Piano Quintet reveals the diverse facets of a complex personality who could be profoundly introspective as well as patriotically exuberant.
