A Carolina native, singer/songwriter West has been performing in the Portland vicinity since 2002. He's a skilled guitarist as well as a harmonica and percussion player.

hey Music Man... I was at the show too. Sounds like you're a big fan of Nick. This was a Showcase featuring a wide range of musicians.... There were really no openers or headliners. Everyone played a specific slot depending on when you signed up & the order the host felt like having us.
I think Elli Perry (who played first) had one of the best performances. Dylan Sneed (another top notch performer) played late because he got on the bill late... It was a fun night of music.

THIS DESCRIPTION IS WRONG. I was at this concert. I don't know who is responsible for posting this information, but Stand Alone and Stephen Hunton were definitely not on the bill and never were on the bill. Nick Edelstein performed with a trio and kicked ass. They played their usual blend of amazing Americana Rock and Blues Rock, and their vocal harmonies were spot-on. Will West opened for Nick as a solo act and displayed an interesting picking style and funny banter. After Will, and then later Nick were done performing, Dylan Sneed did a set. I felt bad for Sneed because his voice was awesome but the room was practically empty (it was nearing midnight).
