Elephant Appreciation Day September 22, 2010

Activities will include: 8 am--First 25 Zoo members to report to the elephant exhibit get to assist with hiding treats for the elephants inside of their exhibit. 8 am-2 pm--Elephant barn side door will be open for viewing of elephant care & daily tasks by keepers. Also, guests can make pi atas which will be used for the elephants later in the day. 10 am--Elephant creature feature and carrot toss. Noon--elephant shower. 2 pm--Elephants receive pi atas.
