Mad Rad’s music is a combination of hip hop, electro, dance, newer wave, and face melting rock and roll. Seattle based MC’s Buffalo Madonna, P Smoov, Terry Radjaw, and DJ Darwin swarm the stage of this creative quartet. Shows gyrate. Rooms are taken, in sweat, flesh, and heat. It’s a swell. Get in. Give in. Be hunted, spill blood. Hunt back. Spear a Puma. Get laid. Howler monkeys swing through canopy level strobes. If it sounds like you’re on drugs, it’s because you are! The music is like the best kind of drug, it is intoxicating.

There is a hunger in Mad Rad. A want. A want to kill and be killed, to feast and be feasted on, to love and be loved. Animalistic, the crux. Pressing, the message. You are sentient, with ears. You’re alive now, in skin. Mad Rad is here to save you, and your deepest darkest fantasy. Everything is going to be alright. Just hang on tight.

At the heart is P Smoov’s production: icy, beat driven compositions that build and build then break hard and clean. Synthesizers tightly arpeggiate, then unfold, gain, and get dirty. The Youth Die Young is Mad Rad’s second full length. The songs see the band refining, reflecting, and examining lost minds. It’s the morning after. What happened? Why? It’s a bullet proof confessional.

In short, Mad Rad is solving the energy crisis at CENTRAL S.A.P.C. in Santa Monica, CA, April 22nd. http://www.myspace.com/madandrad

ABOUT 87 STICK UP KIDS
A haphazard mix of future retro music, hard hitting raps, that cuts through the collective pop culture commons.

Born out of rap’s golden era, The 87 Stick Up Kids have emerged as a bastion of true school rap revivalism. Their adept witticisms and natural storytelling collide head on with party monstered, colorfully-produced head bangers, creating a patchwork reflection of hip-hop's vibrant past and ever-changing right now. http://www.the87stickupkids.com/

ABOUT MASH HALL
The creation of djblesOne, (bboy, MC) and smooth criminal/occasional rapper Ronnie Voice. Backing their play are MC/renaissance man El Mizell—son of legendary jazz/funk producer Larry Mizell and Seattle's reigning King Of All Media—and dancer/hypewoman Emecks. Together, they have been rocking stages with Cypress Hill, Scarface, Jadakiss, House of Pain, The Clipse, Big Boi, Snoop Dogg, Ghostface Killah, Das Racist, Ninjasonik, the Cool Kids, Wale and more from Seattle to NYC. Their sound is big, bottom-heavy, breakbeat bacchanalia - a bunch of words strung together to evoke some kind of feeling. Be it nostalgic, futuristic, silly or serious, the outcome is different depending on personality types and situations. http://www.myspace.com/mashhall
