saw these guys at coachella but i just didn't "get it." i am willing to give them a second chance, mostly because of that tony blair|george bush video that uses 'gay bar.' plants an earworm on me that just won't quit.

I bet they are better live than recorded.

well, that sucks
what are you on about username?
I'm not going to hold them up as masters of musical talent, but their stuff is a catchy mix of rock/dance music. Sure, a lot of their lyrics are ridiculous, but that can be a lot of fun. I mean, "Fire in the Taco Bell"? Really? It makes me chuckle even now. And I suspect that in concert, the crowd will be really energetic, which is half the fun of a live show. Good enough to go checkout methinks.
the more i think about it, these guys might be good in a small venue
stay tuned
just like Sigur Ros is gonna suck at Coachella with a bunch of rock and techno blaring from somewhere in the not-too-far distance.
Never over-estimate San Diego's taste in music.
SOLD OUT!!!

Not sure I will go all the way to the casbah for 2 amusing tunes.
The other dodgy 80s tracks might be bearable with beer stimulated auditory functions.
