Electrelane is a female rock quartet hailing from Brighton, England who make dense and heavy compositions blending their varied influences from Krautrock to Klezmer to Coltrane-inspired jazz. The band has been featured in LadyFest concerts in Glasgow and is coming to The Warhol supporting their 3rd full-length release, Axes, recorded by Steve Albini and released on Too Pure Records. The Portland pop duo, The Blow, consists of visual/performance artist Khaela Maricich and musically tech-savy Jona Bechtolt on various electronics, who produces the beats and melodic hooks that compliment Marichich’s fun and otherworldly lyrics. Their latest release, Paper Television, was released by the iconic Northwest indie-pop label K Records. Opening the show is Melanie Valera, aka Tender Forever, whose minimalist approach utilizes acoustic guitar with laptop accompaniment, also on K Records and from Portland via Bordeaux, France.
