The Tribune is throwing an election night party at the House Of Blues (Back Porch Stage). If you present proof that you voted (voting stub, card, etc.) it's only $5 to get in and that includes two drinks. Otherwise, it's $15. There will also be live music. Proceeds go to Rock The Vote and Chicago Tribune Charities.

The party starts at 6pm and I highly recommend getting there as close to 6pm as possible as I have no clue whether there's going to be a line to get in or what type of capacity there is inside.

You should RSVP at [email protected]. If you RSVP but don't get a confirmation back don't worry and just show up. I don't know whether or not the RSVP is required but it's better to be safe and do it. Chicago Tribune Charities is organizing this and not the HOB so calling HOB for info doesn't help.

Keep my number in case you can't find the group - (224) 766-6012. I imagine I won't be able to hear the phone once inside so please try texting me if you have any questions.

One more thing - this is NOT AN OBAMA CAMPAIGN-SPONSORED EVENT. It's a non-partisan event thrown by the Tribune and I'm not putting it on here as an Obama party. I just figured people would be interested in attending.
