Last week the Obama Girls of Comedy hit the battleground to swing states back to blue. We have had a week of amazing, sold out shows and it looks like we are making progress; Obama has a 12 point lead in Pennsylvania, Ohio might not screw up this year and Indiana is starting to get with the Illinois program...not too shabby. Next week we make it down to the "real" Virginia and North Carolina to make some "real" change. Now we've got great news for our hometown.

We will be returning to NYC on Election Day to watch the results, the funniest NY female comics will be dropping by to share their thoughts, Michelle Buteau (Comedy Central), Ophira Eisenberg (Comedy Central), Calise Hawkins (Comedy Central), The Goddess Perlman (Last Comic Standing), Mindy Raf (VH-1), Claudia Cogan (Sirius Raw Dog), Susie Felber (Smoking Gun) and many more. Sarah Palin will be dropping by and our very own Hot Obama Mamas will be go-go dancing all night long and we will even sing the national anthem to top it all off. It will be an all-American event had by all. On November 4th, we will be turning the Red Fish, Blue. Join us.

Here come the Obama Girls of Comedy, swinging the swing states back to blue!

Who says that women are jumping the Obama ship? When the Republicans nominated Sarah Palin for Vice President, they thought they had a winner. They were certain that they would get most American women onboard. Who doesn’t want to see a fellow sister breaking the glass ceiling? Even if that “sister” is against a woman’s right to choose, environmental protection, alternative energy development, freedom of speech, gun control, the separation of church and state and polar bears. Well, this time the GOP got it wrong, again.
While we recognize that Governor Palin’s rise is certainly admirable, she works almost as hard as her Hairdini. Republicans are trying to employ a “don’t ask, don’t tell” tactic on her candidacy. If no one asks her about her record, the American public can just be seduced by her bespectacled charm and hockey mom wiles. Swing states are swinging with her. Republicans are suddenly sexy!
The Obama Girls of Comedy are hitting the road to bring sexy back to the Democrats. Govenor Palin is no match for these hotties of hilarity. The show features female comedians who have appeared on Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO and Network Television. We are still sweet on Obama and spreading the good word!
