Ek Tha Gadha - Play November 23, 2008

Indu Arts Theatre & Film Society presents Ek Tha Gadha, a hilarious Hindi comedy written by Sharad Joshi and directed by Yasin Khan.

The play revolves around a man and his donkey, Allahdad. The confusion begins when the donkey dies and people in the village start thinking that Allahdad was indeed a noble man, not knowing it was a donkey. The news reaches the Nawab of the city, who orders a royal funeral to be organized. What happens next is what constitutes the story.
