Effective Strategies for Parents of Teens October 27, 2008

Being a parent is one of the hardest jobs one could ever have. Parenting is something that we learn from a variety of sources as well as from our own experiences.

The S.T.E.P. parenting education program has been widely acclaimed for its effectiveness and sensibility. Using "Evidence Based" techniques and an interactive approach, it is lively and fun.

The 7-week curriculum is a supportive place to meet with other parents just like you who are wanting to be the best parents they can be. Among other useful strategies, you will learn to better understand teenagers behaviors, the difference between praise and encouragement, discipline that is effective, as well as communication and problem-solving skills.

Dates of course: Every Monday for 7 weeks beginning with, Oct 27th, Nov 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th, Dec 1st, 9th.
