Gros Morne Gatherings, EECOM and Parks Canada are excited to be hosting EECOM08 in Gros Morne National Park from September 25-28, 2008.

The theme of this year's conference is: Reconnect! Rethink! Rejoice!

Organizational Rethink. Initiatives that build capacity, skills, and competencies to celebrate, reconnect and rethink organizational goals.
Climate Change Challenge. Programs that demythify and clear the air concerning the big melt!

Reconnecting People to Nature. Initiatives that get people thinking, feeling, sensing, doing, about being outdoors.

Be the Wave. Educational programs that highlight water issues, freshwater , marine,& ecology.

Education and Engagement. Educational programs that get people "onboard" and stimulate behavioral change or eco-action. Grounding Schools: Initiatives that connect the curriculum to the community.

Celebrate Good Times...C'mon!! Programs and initiatives dealing with song, dance, paintings, writing…connecting Arts to Science and Science to Arts is a good reason to make the hills of the Long Range Mountains come alive!
