Edwyn Collins will release his eighth solo album, Understated, through his own label AED early in 2013. The album has been produced and recorded by Collins and Seb Lewsley at their West Heath Yard studio. It is his first since Losing Sleep was released to widespread acclaim in September 2010. In the last year the former Orange Juice man has also begun work on a film about his life and music titled In Your Voice, In Your Heart.
