Please join the Education Through Music - Bay Area Associates for our first annual JAMs (Joy and Music) event. Budget cuts have taken the music out of schools throughout the Bay Area. ETM - Bay Area puts it back in by providing year-long, comprehensive music education for every child in selected schools serving low-income communities.

Come out and celebrate our work, while enjoying a fun-filled afternoon of music, prizes, and more. This year's JAMs event will feature special performances by the Chanticleer LAB Choir, renowned gospel and blues performer Quinn DeVeaux, and ETM-Bay Area students.

"Quinn DeVeaux has packed houses and astounded audiences in the Bay Area for years with his smooth...voice and cool melodic songwriting...[He] harnesses the likes of Ray Charles, John Hurt, Fats Domino and Bo Diddley. His songwriting is the classic influence made fresh. With all the style and subtlety of the great soul/blues singers of the earth bound golden days, his band keeps audiences in a state of joy." "The Louis A. Botto (LAB) Choir is Chanticleer's small, mixed ensemble made up of singers aged 14-20. The purpose of the group is to promote high-level, small ensemble training for the area's top young singers and to provide community service through free performances and free in-school visits." As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generous support of donors to provide high quality programs for our students. Please check out our website at etmbayarea.org, "like" us on facebook, and come "JAM" with us on March 25th.
