Are you an entrepreneur, or are you thinking of starting a business? Join us for an interactive discussion about international women entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurs and small businesses constitute the fabric of Silicon Valley and capture the imagination of the world. Yet women are still under-represented among business founders.
Some of the topics to be discussed are:

- What can we do to get more women entrepreneurs in high tech, biotech, clean tech and other high growth industries?
- How do the organizations supporting women entrepreneurs compare in the US vs. Europe and how do we learn about them in the first place?
- How effective are the different educational systems in providing and encouraging technical and business training and how can we take advantage of them more efficiently?
- How can we best take advantage of the resources available for leadership development to grow our businesses?
- How do the entrepreneurs attending today go about "Eat, pray, love" regarding all of the above?

Speakers:
- Silvia Battilana, Co-Founder Stanford University Dept of Economics, will address how she helps people start businesses in Africa with the New Scholar project
- Alison Covarrubias, co-founder Hatch Network, will address how she assists women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses
- Esther Nio, Founder Esther's German Bakery, will address how she followed her heart to create a business without prior experience
- Marita Roebkes, Social Media Manager, Co-Founder Xeesm Corp + Social Media Academy, will address her experience as a serial entrepreneur and small business owner in the field of social media

Moderator:
