Facing Peak Oil: Personal Planning in Community
Facilitator: Janet Kobren

Free discussion on whatever personal issue(s) participants want to
talk about. Last month we focused mostly on how to create a strategy
for dealing with friends and family about peak oil during the
holidays. Here are some other topics to consider as a starting off
point:

How do you talk to someone very close to you, like a partner or
spouse you live with, about making changes when they say things
like, "I understand, but I want to have my comfort?"

What are you not willing to give up and why? What's your "story"
regarding how you rationalize how you're living?

What's your "story" about how it's going to play out?

Thoughts about: "The cure for scarcity is not abundance; the cure for
scarcity is trust."

CLEANUP

A chance for people new to Peak Oil to discuss ideas presented
during the meeting.
