Earth Day: Green 'folk groove acoustic soul' from Alice Di Micele Band April 24, 2009

From Oregon, the indie sensation Di Micele will inspire with a 5-octave range, fierce guitar and green songs. Di Micele has had a prodigious independent career, selling 25,000 CDs, performing at festivals like Joshua Tree and Strawberry, and sharing the stage with artists from Joan Baez, Arlo Guthrie, David Grisman, Ani DiFranco, Bill Kreutzman, Zero, and Michael Franti. Bonnie Raitt says "(Alice has) earthiness and groove...She's for real".

Alice is known to work with heavyweight players in her band, some of whom have been popular in San Geronimo Valley Community Center largescale outdoor concerts. Special guests TBA.
