Introduction

Moksha Family and Sustainable Recordings present EARTHDANCE MIAMI 06.
Description
Miamis top bands and artist collectives come together during international festival EARTHDANCE in celebration of world peace and in benefit of ECOMB.

ECOMB is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating Miami-Dade Countys residents and visitors to adopt responsible environmental behaviors and to raise their awareness to our surrounding ecosystems. This date is also the international coastal clean-up day happening from 9am to 12pm.

Earthdance is the worlds biggest cultural musical festival that happens in over 150 different cities around the globe simultaneously and features a synchronized peace prayer (7pm Miami). This year Earthdance will be simulcast from 5 different locations from around the world. Miami has been chosen as one of these locations. The feed will be available live through the earthdance.org and the Womb.com websites. The event and broadcast will also host the world premier of the music video Peace = Solution by Miami based band Agape featuring Nadia Harris.

This event will feature a revolving cast of musicians, dance troops, visual artists and conceptual performers. The first part of the event previous to the peace prayer will be allocated to speakers of cultural, health, environmental, non-profit and spiritual organizations. Following the peace prayer the second part of the night will feature a crescendo of live bands on two different stages ending with an Open format drumming circle. The third and final part will feature Djs spinning a diverse range of electronic music.

Earthdance will also be providing entertainment for the volunteers of the coastal clean up day from 1pm to 3pm at the Miami Seaquarium.
