Early Music with The Trinity Choir and the REBEL Baroque Orchestra: Vesper of 1610 January 29, 2008

Trinity Wall Street proudly presents Early Music with The Trinity Choir and the REBEL Baroque Orchestra. On January 29th at 7:30 PM, they will perform Claudio Monteverdi's Vespers of 1610.

Magnificent and sensuous, incorporating Gregorian plainchant, the transcendently beautiful Vespro della Beata Vergine is rhythmically thrilling. This monumental work of music calls for a choir large enough and skillful enough to cover up to ten vocal parts in some movements and split into separate choirs in others, while accompanying seven different soloists. Vespers is considered one of the cornerstones of the classical repertoire.

Tickets are $40.00 for Premium Seating, $25.00 for General Admission and $15 for Student/Senior (Student/Senior tickets will only be available at the door)
