An exhibition of landscapes and trucks by New Hampshire artist, Earl Schofield. At first glance these beautiful depictions of the New England countryside and the random trucks that erode there are classic and realistic views. A closer look reveals the artist’s ability to merge his personal identity and emotions into each canvas. The layering technique of encaustic allows for the surface to be scratched, torn and made imperfect, a process that allows Schofield to express his deepest self.
