Eames Film Festival August 9, 2006

The legacy of Ray and Charles Eames extends far beyond their classic furniture pieces. Taking a multidisciplinary approach to design long before that was the norm, the Eameses created over 100 short films between 1950 and 1982. Join DWR, in conjunction with the Eames Foundation and Herman Miller for the Home®, as we celebrate their film legacy. Our film festival includes a screening of seven films and a presentation from Bern Styburski, executive director of the Eames Foundation. Refreshments will be served.

From the North – Take the 405 south towards Long Beach, exit Rosecrans Ave. and turn right, continue for about 1 ½ miles, turn left onto Sepulveda Blvd., and make a right onto Manhattan Beach Blvd. Our studio is about 1 mile down, in the Metlox Center on your right.

From the South – Take the 405 north, exit Inglewood Ave. and turn left, then make your next right onto Manhattan Beach Blvd. Our studio is about 3 miles down, in the Metlox Center on your right.
