Dysrhythmia is a technical post rock band. The band plays an intense yet thoughtful crossblend of tech metal and post rock, often burgeoning on shifting time signatures and contradictingly mellow guitar phrases. Completely instrumental, the band's focal point is in its unique crossbreed of frantic time signature evolution and mellifluous guitar passages. The Battlecats play melodic pop reminscent of The Clash, Blondie and Josie and The Pussycats. Singer Jimmy Jude's playful lyrcis and Elvis Costello-esque delivery make for some great songs.
