Social Tech Brewing hosts:

*** Drupal Dialogs and Drafts ***

An evening of tips, insights, Q and A and discussion about the leading open source community portal software: Drupal, followed by beers at the bar.

Since its first release in January 2001, Drupal has gained in popular use as an ideal open source community portal / content management system. It has an incredible set of useful default features along with a very large array of freely available themes, modules and translations. Over the years it has matured to include a professional user community, extensive support materials, support for both LAMP and IIS servers and effective interface usability. Drupal has been used for such popular and diverse sites as www.spreadfirefox.com www.musicforamerica.org www.linuxjournal.com www.ourmedia.org www.mbr.org and www.ent.iastate.edu/list/

Visit www.Drupal.org to learn more about this amazing software.

The evening's format will be guided by the interests of those who attend and may include:
* An introduction to the core features of Drupal.
* Short presentations describing successes, innovations and challenges of using Drupal.
* Q and A of what is and is not possible in Drupal.
* Plans people have for using Drupal in the future, aiming for opportunities to collaborate.
