Drum Circle January 24, 2008

Celebrate our story in Time Out NY 's January 24th issue! Drum, dance, howl and shake! Connect to the healing power of drumming. Enjoy sharing rhythm with others and jam in our nonjudgmental nonverbal community. We experiment with playing percussion in the moment: paying attention to others and listening to where the beat wants to go. No experience necessary. No need to bring a drum. Facilitated by percussionist and prize-winning educator Shoshana Jedwab. All ages are welcome. Come once or for more sessions. At holiday times, we celebrate seasonal themes with sound. $10 member/$12 nonmember.
