DC on the DL

Cherry Blossoms, bustling roofdecks, mobs of people on the mall, paddleboating.

Some things are quintessentially Spring in DC.

Now there's one more - Drinking Liberally DC.

Drinking Liberally is a nationwide network of informal, Democratic
drinking club chapters where socializing and politics mix. What
started in a dive bar in New York's Hell's Kitchen in May 2003 is now
the gateway drug of political involvement. Drinking Liberally's blend
of political hacks and left-leaning laymen fosters activism and
networking all in a casual, inclusive environment with no agenda other
than to have a few beers with some like-minded blokes.

Drinking Liberally now has more than 60 chapters nationwide (including
one in Alaska, three in Texas, three in Kansas and six in Florida) and
multiple chapters continue to start up each week.

Help Drinking Liberally DC kick off spring season with a very special
