During the "modern era" from 1900 to 1930 in Moorestown, various architectural styles were in evidence -- Colonial Revival, Gothic Revival -- along with "newer" styles. Between the Spanish American War and World War II, Moorestown demonstrated a cornucopia of architecture, looking back with gambrel and gable roofs as well as looking forward with four square styling. This slide presentation and lecture will highlight a cross-section of this era's architecture.
