Down East FolkArts Society presents Brooks Williams January 16, 2009

Part of the Down East FolkArts Society concert series. Brook Williams is a guitarist, a songwriter, and teacher, one of the most entertaining and engaging performers on the circuit today. With bluesy finger-picking, soaring bottleneck slide, and swinging flat-picking, Brooks' music is rooted in the blues and traditional music of his southern childhood. But, it was the folk scene he found when he moved to Boston, Mass. in his late teens that ignited his passion for performing.
