Returning to The Kitchen for the first time since 2003's 'Shadowmann,' the New York-based choreographer offers a subtle examination of the development of a dance style within a particular culture. The new piece finds Michelson working again with longtime visual collaborator Parker Lutz and, for the first time, with the composer Pete Drungle, among others.
