Doug Crocco creates highly detailed color pencil drawings that deal with cultural phenomena. In Croccos most recent works he addresses belief systems and American values in a time of uncertainty. Using familiar patterns and icons, themes such as fear, apprehension, hope, and individualism emerge. When seen as a single body of work the pieces act to tell a story of a deep rooted psychological conflict, between a dark unease and embedded optimism in the American consciousness. Croccos work has been exhibited in Los Angeles, New York, and abroad.Admission:Opening Reception admission is free for members and $10 for adults.
