DotComUnity Open Day July 7, 2009

Learning and Physical Disability Services Open Day to be held on Tuesday July 7th nd from 11am to 2pm The event is to mark the official launch of DotComUnity.co.uk. There will be a select group of 30 service providers covering a wide range of categories of support exhibiting at the event, which is open to everyone associated with Learning and Physical Disabilities including providers and professionals as well as service users, their family, friends and support workers. We are hoping to attract over 300 visitors including the media during the course of the day, who will have the chance to see a really exciting and diverse range of providers. Exhibitors range from the big - Mencap and Wessex Autistic Society, to the small - Caring Cannies, who provide Animal Therapy (and will bring some dogs with them!) and Dorset people First, who provide a service to assist those with learning disabilities develop and sustain friendships. Two short speeches of welcome and to mark the official launch will take place at 11:30am. The event is free of charge and there will be light refreshments available throughout the day. Everyone is very welcome.
