The Ghost of Christmas Future has one prediction this holiday season: the whole family will love seeing Disney’s A Christmas Carol in IMAX 3D at the New England Aquarium’s Simons IMAX Theatre.

Moviegoers will experience the beloved holiday classic written by Charles Dickens on New England’s largest movie screen, following Ebenezer Scrooge (voiced by Jim Carrey) as he finds the new meaning of holiday spirit. Audience members will travel through time, reach for falling snowflakes, and feel the rumble of the horse-drawn carriages over the cobblestone streets through the digitally re-mastered IMAX 3D Experience.

The Simons IMAX Theatre is the only IMAX theatre in the Boston area that will feature A Christmas Carol over the holiday school vacation.

A Christmas Carol will be shown Sunday through Thursday at 6pm and 8pm, with the exception of Thursday, December 24, when show times will be shifted to 2pm and 4pm. On Friday, December 25, the theatre will be closed. Admission is $12.95 for adults and $10.95 for seniors and children, ages three to 11-years-old. The Simons IMAX Theatre is located at the New England Aquarium, Central Wharf, Boston. To order tickets online visit, www.neaq.org or call 1-866-815-IMAX (4629).
