18th Street and Dolores Street
San Francisco, California

Since the first Earth Day in 1970, the certainty that our planet is indeed in peril has become more and more obvious. This year the City plans will celebrate Earth Day with a giant festival at the Civic Center. Will there be a little organic garden?  We hope so. But why not stay local, and help keep our own little oasis of green healthy? Come out for Dolores Park’s Earth Day Celebration and Community Clean Up.
Join a crew from Accenture and the Dolores Park community in our first big park Clean Up of the year.
You will be teamed up for light gardening, sweeping, raking and litter pickup. Meet us at our information table behind the tennis courts, near18th street and Dolores. Then grab lunch, provided by Bi-Rite Market, local merchants and neighbors and relax. Dare we say, picnic in the park and listen to VIP guests and other surprises.
Finally, help keep the park clean by joining Dolores Park Works in our Guerilla Gifting event. We distribute green DPW branded recycled paper sacks to other picnickers as a kindly reminder to clean up after themselves.

We meet on the lawn behind the 18th Street Tennis Courts off Dolores Street.
