PAUL POT AND DENNIS D AT THE LOST CHURCH

Paul Pot (that would be me) will be playing at the Lost Church at 65 Capp Street in San Francisco on April 12th. Roger Brown will be joining me on this solo, acoustic performance. It will be a show of original songs (on such subjects as favorite shirts, being too old to die young, love, hate, etc) that I have performed with the Happy Clams, with others, and as a solo performer in the last 30 or so years.

The Lost Church was designed in 1979 by sculptor David Ireland. From 1983 to 1990 it was the home of the Capp Street Project. It is now operated by the new owners as an intimate, 40+ seat acoustic performance theater complete with footlit stage. There is an upstairs bar and outdoor smoking deck.

My friend Dennis D. will be the opening act. He lives by the water in Oakland. He owns a buncha steel and gut-string banjos and plays a mean harp. Come feel the rockin' beat he gives to sea shanties and other americana classics like no other man can.

If you have always been meaning to see me play and haven't gotten around to it for various reasons, or if you just want to finally understand the lyrics, then this show, at this spectacular venue, is the one for you. Really.

Put your butt in a seat. I would love to see you there. Tickets may or may not be available online at the Lost Church.

I was so much younger then. I'm older than that now.
