Southbank Centre
London, England SE1 8XX

"Does architecture matter as much as architects have traditionally presumed it to? Recent studies have shown people enjoy living in particular spaces and environments for numerous different reasons, including sociability within the local community, accessible transport and other resources - but rarely architecture. Participants include author Alain de Botton, Alice Rawsthorn, Professor Richard Burdett, Professor in Architecture and Urbanism at London School of Economics and Director of Venice Architecture Biennale, design strategist Hilary Cottam, architect at Foreign Office Architects Alejandro Zaera Polo, architect Jamie Fobert and urban theorist Sukhdev Sandhu." Part of the Southbank Centre Festivals & Series '100 Ideas'.
