Djembe Orchestra January 14, 2010

This all-ages, all-experience-levels workshop will explore the vibrant and exuberant musical traditions of Guinea and Mali, West Africa, centering around the djembe and dunun drums.  Participants will be taught both hand and stick drum techniques as well as bell, shaker, and vocal arrangements.  If you've got a drum, bring a drum.  If not, come anyway and play one of ours.
