The Divisa Ensemble will conclude its 2012 Season with a concert presented by the El Camino Youth Symphony. The Divisa Ensemble will be joined by the 2012 ECYS Divisa Honors Ensemble, the Fine Ensemble. The evening's program includes chamber works by Raasted, Hoffmeister, Bozza, Janitsch and Dvorak.

The Divisa Ensemble is Ensemble-in-Residence of the acclaimed El Camino Youth Symphony. The Divisa Honors Program mentors student chamber groups throughout the year and selects the most outstanding groups to perform in the final Divisa Ensemble concert of the season.

Formed in 2009, the Divisa Ensemble is recognized for its engaging performances and eclectic programming. A quintet of flute, oboe, violin, viola, and cello, the ensemble's instrumentation and "mix-and-match" approach allow for a wide variety of repertoire comprising all traditional and contemporary styles. The Divisa Ensemble is committed to exploring music suited to its unique instrumentation and sharing it through performance and education.

The name "Divisa Ensemble" is derived from the Italian and French terms divisi (divided) and ensemble (together). Programs feature pieces with varied instrumental combinations, as well as works with all members performing as one complete ensemble.
