Divine Design Fashion Show May 12, 2012

“Kingdom Mindset” is the theme of the 5th Annual DIVINE DESIGN Fashion Show, scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 2:00pm, at the Broward Convention Center. Ticket holders will witness glamour from world-renowned and local fashion designers. Grammy and Dove Award nominee Canton Jones will provide live entertainment.

Divine Design is a premiere, upscale, collective brand featuring its own couture designs along with other known designers and fashion entities such as: Cache’, Banana Republic, Laundry by Shelli Segal, Original Penguin, Vicki Soble Couture, K & G Fashions, MYM Style House, and others.

In a continuous effort to increase brand exposure for aspiring and emerging designers, this year’s show also includes the “ Let It Rip” competition segment where designers will have the opportunity to showcase their original designs on the runway. Judged by industry professionals, the winner will receive fabulous prizes, be featured in various magazines, and have his/her own exclusive scene in the 2013 Divine Design Fashion Show. We are excited to have MarYvonne McClary, last year’s winner of “Let it Rip” as a feature designer in this year’s event.

A portion of this year’s proceeds will benefit the Women of Excellence (WOE) Organization. WOE has an 18-year history of impacting the lives of women and men around the world through life-changing conferences, seminars, workshops, etiquette courses, community service, as well as home and beauty makeovers.
Pre-show activities will begin at 11:00am, followed by the much anticipated runway event at 2:00 pm. In addition to all of the action on the runway, there will be door prizes from illustrious sponsors, and a fashion market where ticket holders will be able to purchase a range of products from clothing to jewelry.
