Walt Thomas, a Nebraska native, is the featured artist for the Divine Creativity exhibition of his work throughout the San Diego Center for Spiritual Living facility from Sunday, May 17 through Tuesday, July 21. He is planning an Artist's Reception on Friday, June 12th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

An eclectic artist, Walt enjoys working in many different media including: watercolors, oils, acrylics, pastels, collage, drawing, photography, digital art and more. Walt says, "My dedication to the preservation of plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth, motivates me to take pictures, rather than specimens.." He believes that "Man was created to participate in the creative process." Thus he constantly attempts to build bridges between that which is abstract and that which is real; challenging both our right and left brain, the metaphysical and the physical.

Walt Thomas is an accomplished and prolific professional Fine Artist and Photographer, and developer of the Optillusion art technique. Walt is a member of: Digital Art Guild, Photoshop Users Group, San Diego Art Institute, San Diego County Art Association, and Shelter Island Art Association.
