This acclaimed production is based on the animated Disney movie, but is quite different from the film. From the opening, which features life-sized animal representations taking over the stage to pay tribute to Mufasa, it is clear this is a unique theatrical experience that tries to make a statement about the cycle of life and death in the wilderness. The music is by Elton John and Tim Rice, and includes such beloved songs as 'Circle of Life' and 'Hakuna Matata.'

Hi All,
We're planning on a small get-together to celebrate Reg's 60th. How about joining us at this year's Central Avenue Jazz Festival on Saturday, July 26th @ approximately 2PM? We'll set an area aside next to the performance stage. Please bring chairs. We can either picnic there or buy from the local vendors. Look forward to seeing you all! Love, Martha
