Projects by the MIT SENSEable City Laboratory (a new research initiative between the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning and the MIT Media Lab) and the carlorattiassociati design team (Chiara Morandini, Walter Nicolino, Carlo Ratti). What will be the legacy of the digital revolution in urban and architectural design? "Digital_Minimal" will explore this question and possible future directions for research, from the use of mobile devices that describe urban space to new tangible interfaces that redefine the architectural design process.
