Dupont Circle
Washington, D.C., District of Columbia

Harpoen, the Location-Based Messaging Platform that turns your city's walls, streets, buildings, parks, airports, malls, and beyond into interactive canvases, will debut a Digital Pop-Up Art Exhibition beginning on Saturday 24 March in Dupont Circle and in parallel locations in Jakarta, Indonesia and in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Darbotz, Kims, and Tutu will be among the featured Indonesian street artists and photographers included in the exhibition that can be appreciated only with Harpoen's free application for iOS.

This first-of-its-kind will “pop-up” (i.e. appear) on Saturday 24 March in Dupont Circle, Washington D.C. and will simultaneously “pop-up” in Central Jakarta, and Plaza Serrano, in Buenos Aires' Palermo arts district, creating a spontaneous international showcase centered around Indonesia's creative arts and technology. The exhibition will remain in its venues for several weeks.

The first-of-its-kind, this Digital Pop-Up Art Exhibition represents a new dimension in “tech meets art” for the exploding global social media and mobile applications industry.

Harpoen is available for free on the Apple App Store. To get in on the action, just download the application on your iPhone or iPad, take its quick pre-loaded tour to familiarize yourself with the functions, then hit Dupont Circle, Jalan Wahid Hasyim, or Plaza Serrano to appreciate an exciting arts and technology scene.
