Yes, thats it - time once again for Bastard Jazz's monthly celebration of all things funky - Digging Deeper, where we delve into the crates to unearth new and old deep funk, latin party rockers, mash-ups, dubby vibes, jazzdance bangers, and beats and breaks of all kinds with residents DJ DRM + Paul Digs.

Joining us this Thursday will be NYC's own DJ $mall ?hang, who's held it down in town for over a decade now. A musical addict, he's been collecting and DJing for over 15 years, has 10s of thousands of records, in every conceivable genre and time period. Seriously deep crates in funk, jazz, blues, soul, latin, reggae, dancehall, hip hop, house, breaks, jungle, booty bass, classics, rawk n' roll, punk, vintage RnB, disco, downtempo, ambient, experimental...you get the picture. Some people say they're eclectic--this homeslice lives it, with the skills to mix it all together.

All o'this plus a great soundsystem, intimate dancefloor, lots of good people, and half priced Coronas until midnight. How could ya go wrong?
