The Diamond Valley Reservoir is the largest fresh-water reservoir in southern California. Learn about the paleontological finds of mammoth, mastodon, and other species of the Pleistocene Era found during the building of this reservoir. After a tour of the reservoir, journey to the Western Center for Archaeology and Paleontology Museum for a behind-the-scenes tour of the preparation and curation labs to view fossils that were excavated.
