It’s the perfect murder. Tony Wendice has married his wife Margot for her money and plans to murder her before she leaves him for another man. Unfortunately…..the man he hired to kill her gets murdered himself and Margot survives, and Tony must act quickly to have Margot convicted of his murder. It’s one spine-tingling scene after another as Tony, Margot, her lover and a Scotland Yard detective play a deadly game of cat and mouse. Who will get caught in the trap?

The cast includes: Robert Kramer (Tony Wendice), Stacy Riley (Margot Wendice), Andy Lacerte (Max Halliday), Scott Glennon (Captain Lesgate), Rita Broderick (Hubbard) and Bill Thompson as Thompson.

AND HOW ABOUT THIS?

On Friday, September 11 Gloria Shanstrom, General Manager of the Colorado Theatre Guild, makes her stage debut in the role of Thompson. A role she purchased at auction.

Frederick Major Paull Knott (28 August 1916 — 17 December 2002) was an English playwright, is best known for writing the London-based stage thriller “Dial M for Murder”. Although “Dial M for Murder” was a hit on the stage, it was originally a BBC television production. Knott also wrote the screenplay for the 1954 Hollywood movie by Alfred Hitchcock staring Grace Kelly. In 1966, Knott's stage play “Wait Until Dark” was produced on Broadway and starred Lee Remick who won a Tony Award nomination for her performance. However, the movie version released in 1967 had Audrey Hepburn in the lead role.

Knott died in New York City in 2002.
