Diablo Royale at ZO2's Rock Asylum October 26, 2007

Once a month, NYC's Lower East Side is converged upon by fans starving and hungry for great rock 'n roll. With 5 amazing NYC bands crammed into a show conceived of and headlined by NYC's rock 'n roll royalty, ZO2, fans get there early and latecomers are often disappointed as they're turned away at the door.

Throughout the shows, screaming guitar riffs are nearly obliterated by the screams of fans during each band's set and there isn't a moment of relief. Raucous rock n' roll, belly dancers, a burlesque artist and free giveaways keep the energy at a fever pitch.

ZO2's Rock Asylum has been likened to a revival! ...but maybe it's just a restatement of the obvious. Rock 'n roll is doing what it's always done -bringing huge numbers of people together for unrivaled music and the thrill of the show!
