Dhol Di Awaz, the West Coast's Premier Bhangra Competition, invites everyone to come together to watch talented Bhangra teams from across the nation perform meticulously crafted routines featuring a very traditional style of Bhangra, originating from Punjab, India.
Students from UC Berkeley began organizing 
Dhol Di Awaz 13 years ago, in an attempt to celebrate and preserve 
Punjabi culture as well as to provide a forum where people of Indian
 descent could come together to celebrate the diversity of Indian art 
and culture.
