Design Madison Speaker Series - David Carson October 26, 2006

Design Madison lives to amplify the impact that design has on our society. But get right down to it, and we're about bringing together Madison's brightest creative thinkers. We cast our net from coast to coast, in search of novel forms of visual culture. The season's catch: Five leading creatives willing to share their work and discuss what drives them. We start mixing it up at 6:30 p.m. Speakers take the stage at 7:00 p.m. Paid-up dm members attend free. Nonmembers pay $35 per speaker event. Nonmember students pay $10. Cash bar.

A groundbreaking visual artist, David was the Art Director for Raygun Magazine in the 90’s and has published a
number of books including “The End of Print”, the number one best-selling, graphic design book of all time. David
lectures the world over and continues his innovative design work today, as principal and chief designer of David Carson Design, Inc. with offices in New York City and Charleston, SC.
