From robots with human attributes, to computer games that generate lifelike stories by using artificial intelligence, designers today are finding new relationships between living things and their products. Join curator Matilda McQuaid, Pixar, robotics designer David Hanson, and Institute for Creative Technologies, all featured in Design Life Now: National Design Triennial 2006 for a panel discussion about biology's relevance to fields as diverse as robotics, animation, and engineering.
